She's from Bavaria and we lived in Munich, so that would be my first choice of course... but her studies may necessitate Berlin. I'd be okay with that too - it's a fun city

You read that where?

Look, that "President" has yet to make a positive decision, headline or even statement... And I'm not just talking about something I agree with...

Yes, that was my point

It's less crowded than Berlin (Berlin is a hellhole ), it's cheaper, more beautiful and still has great infrastructure... Plus it's still Bavarian
My brother lives in Berlin - if you ask me - no brainer...

Also has a lot of regulars at Bayern games - and when I say regulars I mean regulars...

i do have to say, a lot of my decision is based on finding work... unfortunately it's tougher to find good real estate jobs in smaller cities - therefore, i'm a bit limited to places like Berlin, München, Frankfurt, etc.

At a minimum though, i would like to visit Wurzburg 8)

Is it?
I always imagined real estate is also much more of a pain in big cities - also competition-wise...

i think it depends on a lot of factors and what you're trying to do. for a real estate agent, it's probably much easier to break into medium-size cities. for asset managers (building owners), I think the bar to entry is lower in smaller cities, but at the same time the most high-value buildings are in big cities.

i work in real estate development - mostly new construction, with a little experience in renovations of historic structures. in the US, I've built ~3 high rise residential towers, but when I was in Munich I built a semi-famous shopping passage spread over 7 buildings, with retail, office, residential... i won't say the exact name, but it may be easy to guess 8)

so, for the work i do, it's mostly occurring in big cities (or rather, places that are growing and have a lot of investment money)

In that case, Berlin is perfect for you - after all, it is "dazu verdammt, immerfort zu werden und niemals zu sein" (Karl Scheffler - little did he know this would become SOOOOOOOOO true - they're building ALL OVER the place...)

Nope

Most of pure Berlin origin food is shit...
But: the city is kind of a melting pot... It's not AS versatile and widespread as your beautiful hometown, but they have a lot of deli from around the world (yummy, shawarma)...
Let's just say when you're here you occasionally make Würzburg and we make at least an annual trip to Munich (including a game of course...) for the REALLY good stuff... Like Haxn, Weißbier, Leberkas, Weißwürscht, Obazda, Spanferkel...

mann, figured as much... but i will say that the best Döner i've had is in Berlin 8) and also currywurst is a good go-to...

it would be a pleasure to join the Würzburg crew for a game 8) and it will be VERY important to get a weißwurstfruhstuck
