Missing service dog found in Texas [source]

Pretty cool story. A former Marine from Southern California lost her service dog nine months ago. Nine months without giving up, and now the German Shepherd has been found in Texas, and is on his way back to his rightful companion!

The suspicion is that someone broke into her home and stole the dog. He got some rough treatment, received heavy negative reinforcement, and has trust issues now. But at least he's back home.

RIP for everyone lost in 9/11.
I remember that day, I was only 5 years old at the time but still can picture parts of it. At the time I lived about 1 hour away from NYC. We could actually see the WTC from my town at some park(there was a huge hill, like a mini mountain, and on a clear day NYC is visible). I still have memories of seeing the WTC from that point.

The day it happened I walked into my living room where my mom was panicking a little while watching TV, she told me that a plane hit the twin towers. This may seem awful but at the time, remember that I was 5 yrs old at the time, but when my mom told me about it, I thought a small plane just hit and bounced off, I laughed a little but was quickly told that it was more serious. It was hard to comprehend what happened, because I was so young. Now that i am older I look back and understand all the evil involved, its awful.
Just two weeks prior to the attack my dad switched jobs, he used to work only 2 blocks from the buildings. His new job was not even in the city so he was extremely lucky to have been offered that job.
God bless everyone affected, I cannot imagine what it was like to see that.

BTW, I meant to post this on 9/11 but my laptop ran out of battery midway through the post so I just finished writing it.

I'm gonna put this here where it belongs :D

South is pretty cool. Better than I originally gave it credit for. I'm sure it would be better if I was more into the college football scene. But I like that there are less restrictions here. People are pretty nice, and I go boating, tailgating, drinking beer while I ride shotgun, doesn't get much better than that :). Same as NYC, just gotta avoid the poor parts.

I really liked Southern California where I'm originally from, but now it's crowded with annoying poseurs and our state government is awful. Plus expensive AF.

Holy tailgating is sooooo much fun!!! This weekend is the first in awhile that we won't have a home game, so no tailgating :(

I am listening to a funny breakfast show and a Maltese guy called from California(he was driving along the dessert)... Haha he said something and one of the presenters told him to be careful because his call might be taped. He assertively answered ... In Russia that will be called : communism while in America that is homeland security
