Our luck is unbelievable ...
I wonder how neither mEssi nor ronaldo never pick up injuries with their nT

Well, it's a sprained ankle, not a broken foot, so I would guess that he won't be out for too long. Of course, defining "too long" is a problem.

Looking over some injuries on tranfermarkt, I would guestimate about two weeks.

In fact I find the moment of this injury a good chance for James to step up and show his qualities with no pressure getting dropped.
Thiago's ankle injury can take from 2 to 4 weeks maximum, it's not something to worry about since Thiago was quite invisible lately(like most of the players of course) so it's a good amount of playing time for James to perform accordingly.

This in itself is one of many reasons why they became legendary players.

Messi used to have a lot of muscle injuries early on. Apparently he changed his diet quite a bit in addition to strengthening his body.

Ronaldo, well he really has put a lot of work in the weight room. Muscle mass is important to keeping bones and ligaments together and prevents injuries. The important thing though is to know how much muscle to add and to keep stretching regularly.

Seems like it was a close shave for Thiago. He could have easily suffered a serious ankle injury. [source]
