For good football : Neuer - Kimmich, Boateng, Hummels, Alaba - Vidal (Tolisso), Thiago (Tolisso) - Robben, Müller (James), James (Ribéry) - Lewandowski

For boring football : 4-3-3

Thiago falls to @ SPORTBILD, out for several weeks, first leg against Arsenal in danger. But: Müller is available as a substitute! @FC Bayern

Still, I'm wondering myself what Ancelotti will do without Thiago ?

The nice shit 4-3-3 with Alonso in DM and Müller on the wing or the bench ? Or the nice 4-2-3-1 with Müller behind Lewandowski ?

If Robben gets injured we're in a bad shape. It would mean 4-3-3, Alonso as DM and Müller as RW.

Now that he is out our dopple sechs should be composed of Vidal and Kimmich or Vidal and Lahm with Kimmich as RB.
Renato is not ready I think.

He is out for four weeks.
If this is true he would be fit for Arsenal

This was bound to happen sooner o later. Is always the same with him. We can only wonder if he will return to his current level after injury. Another setback.

You're joking right? His previous injuries were almost all knee injuries, this muscle injury has nothing to do with his knee. Did you forget how he's been fit for over a full year now? Last time he was out for multiple weeks was November 2015.

His management's statement:

"A slight thigh muscle injury forces @ Thiago6 to rest for a few weeks."

Sounds like a grade 1 or 2 thigh or hamstring strain. Which has an estimated recovery time of anything between 3 to 8 weeks.

Yep not really Thiago fault. This can happen.

How many times I said Thiago should be bench ? He played all the time..

He will be OK, as long as its not the knee - he is OK.

:( It's a big hit tbh, he has been our best player so far this season. Hopefully this means we get to see more of Renato.
