You mean Ribery? That was something really, really fascinating, though.

Injuries are a special part of the modern football. I've seen so many matches of my country and so little serious injuries with a long absence.
The last I recall was in 2005 where Ivica Olić against Brazil at Poljud suffered some 6-7 months on cool. After that he made an awesome career moving to HSV and later to Bayern and Wolfsburg.

But last 4-5 years this has gone way too far. My opinion is that players have never been so injury prone as they were over the last 5-6 years.

If the old Serie A(90's, 80's, 70's) was called butcher's place in some countries, what the hell is this today... This made me replay André Hahn's recent horror.

Its not yet clear ....for how long he is out.
A statement on the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) website read: "He carried out an MRI scan and results show an edema in the proximal insertion of the medial collateral ligament on his right knee caused by indirect trauma suffered in the match against England.

"Taking into account the operations the player has undergone and as a matter of prevention, it has been decided for the player to leave the Spain camp and carry out further tests and work with Bayern Munich's medical staff, who have been in constant contact with Spain's staff since the footballer left the pitch at the Spain-England friendly."

From what I found out its 6 weeks

Can the clubs starting denying sending their players for friendly matches? Somebody has to create a precedent.
This is unjust... He was becoming our Boss in mdf ... Because of this either Lahm or Alaba will have to go back in mdf...
Or Hopefully both Ben and Bad are ok so we can play them together with Boa. Lahm and Alaba wing backs Javi and Vidal in CM

Well this is one of the few injuries we couldn't afford this season. There goes our biggest and basically only source of offensive creativity in the midfield.

Well, this is crap, but we do have Vidal to perform a similar role. Xabi + Thiago was our usual CM pairing, so while Thiago is out we can use Xabi + Vidal. No need to draft Lahm into midfield just yet.

Tbh i don't really count on vidal he is not the most fit payers we have. As for xabi; well..
I am afraid there are not too many options. With Bernat fit again we can maybe push alaba in mdf.
Then there are kimmich and Rode.
