It won't affect on our future games, though. He hasn't shown anything great yet, so we won't cry that too much.

Fortunately, Rib and Rob are in great condition and without them we wouldn't be so effective at the start of this season. As long as they're healthy everything is much easier for Guardiola.

Get well soon, Thiago. [-o<
He should still have enough time to impress DB.

Unfortunate but not a big deal since there's numerous players to take his spot. Best case scenario would be for Martinez to be fit and to see him play the 6 with Schweinsteiger playing with Kroos in the middle. That midfield would be very solid vs Chelsea. Anyways, i hope it's nothing too serious and that he'll be back up within that timeframe, he's full of potential and he needs to play.

Maybe when he returns he'll be under less scrutiny and finally begin to perform to his level. It says a lot when our midfield is still packed despite his loss.

I think this makes the team stronger in the short term. With Thiago as Pep's little pet project he will always be higher on the depth chart than what he deserves. I hate to see a line up like we had against Nuremberg where Kroos and Muller are on the bench. I would always want to see more of Ribery, robben, goetze, kroos, muller, schweinsteiger, Mandzu and even Shaq than I do of Thiago but under Pep he will always get playing time. Also, this prevents Pep from experimenting with Thiago in the DM role (at least it does for the next 7 weeks). I am not saying I would wish for a player injury but just being realistic about it now that he is injured. With Goetze back he just seems surplus to requirements for the monent. He can relax and practice his German until the schedule get busier and other players' injuries place him more in demand.

The reason he played Thago and Gotze is because the schedule is packed! Bayern will be playing 3 games in the span of 7 days which included Nurnberg, Freiburg, then Chelsea. He didnt bench Kroos/Muller because Thaigo is his little project, especially Muller who probably deserved to be benched after two straight games he played badly. I can sense you like some others have some vendetta against Thiago which i can understand but he is a Bayern Munich player. I used to dislike Kroos because Jupp would always play him even when i thought he wasnt best for Bayern but i knew in the end wishing Kroos misfortune doesnt help the team. Wishing or being relieved about any misfortune Thiago is pretty much saying i want Bayern Munich to fail. He is a Bayern Munich player now and like everything Bayern involved it deserves our support. Dont blame Pep or Thiago for him being at Bayern, blame the legends we call KHR, Uli, and Sammer for forcing you to support Thiago. Im not saying you cant dislike a player but dont wish the Thiago/team misfortune just to satisfy your own selfish beliefs....

I really don't mind right now,I hope he gets well soon though because we will need him in the future.
Right now,I prefer Kroos & Muller over Thiago/Gotze/Shaqiri to team up with Robbery.Kroos fits perfect to our system,he improved his passing skills even further, tactically seems to play perfect(either behind the striker or passing or defending) and Muller is Muller,he can make it happen out of nowhere as a Second striker,Mandzu needs some help in the box and Muller seems to be perfect for that with his "phantom skills" finishing or drag some defenders with him so Mandzukic will be more free.

About Thiago,he has the skills,he had some great passes but overall till now he is nothing special except his excellent lob passes and some steals.
I hope he recovers because the situation will get tricky for him and stay behind Kroos/Muller/Gotze because of his fitness and tactical awareness.
It's sad because he was up to make it and feel comfortable in the team and systems but he got injured badly.Bad luck for Thiago...

Get well soon Thiago. I get djfixme's post and even though I don't wish Thiago any harm, I think he needed to step out of the first team to give Mueller and Kroos the starting spots they deserve. I see (hope) this be becoming our lineup after Thiago returns.

Neuer ; Lahm, Boateng, Dante, Alaba ; Martinez/Thiago ; Robben/Shaq, Mueller/Goetze, Basti/Kroos, Ribery ; Mandzukic/Pizarro

I just hope this is our lineup before the winter break.

Im glad he wont be in the line up, this team needs to go back to the old lineups, for me the most important thing is to have javi and schweini out there as DMs
