Will play with a special mask against Barca? Sounds a bit irresponsible to me.

Is it a broken cheekbone or a broken jaw? I would imagine a broken cheekbone is less serious, no?

Eurosport said broken jaw, SPORT1 refuted these claims and said he has a broken cheekbone. Let's wait and see what the official channels come out with.

Do you have any record on how long after the injury Micho played with that ? My concern is that its not just a matter of putting up a mask, but I am not sure what type of performance one expects from the player, also due to awareness. I think headers would be a definitely no go.

That's my concern too. I know it has been done before but one week after the injury? We'll have to wait for official confirmation exactly what is wrong.

A broken cheekbone is a whole 'nother thang. Broken noses and cheekbones can be protected with specific gear.

So .... that's bad, it's coming from Bayern's official account.

That would mean he's out for the season.
