Think we should still go with Contento. Because of fitness issues and well... Because he's better in my eyes.
Jesus saves, but Kahn does it better ;)

Hopefully, then we won't see Badstuber or Can at left-back or god forbid even Boateng. Not to grind on Can, but I'd rather see Lahm behind Ribery? and Rafinha behind Robben.

Yeah, I think this is what we should do. It's what we played so well with the first half of last season. We should do this till Alaba is back.

I'd rather see Gomez at left back than Rafinha in the team.

I dont like Rafihna on the team more than the next guy but having Can or Badstuber playing LB is not a better, at least Rafihna offers some attack on his flank

The difference between Rafinha and Can in pure match performance can't be so big that I'd prefer Rafinha. The more game time Can gets the more valuable he'll be for us in the future. Rafinha's contract ends in 2014 and I don't see us offering an extension. I have high hopes for Can hitting it off big though in the next few years.

But the thing is Bayern are trying to develop Can as DM not a LB, they already hve Alaba and Contento adding another wud make things more complicated...

I know. Doesn't matter though. Every minute on the pitch makes him less green behind the ears.

Again, if I thought there were a difference in on-the-pitch-performance between Can and Rafinha, then by all means let Rafinha play. I think both suck as FBs though so let our 18 year old gather some match experience.

Yeah but the important thing is link-up. Stuttgart is no cake-walk and I'd rather save Can as LB for a match against an opponent with a grand total of 0 points after half a season. Chances are that Can won't have much of a clue what he's doing behind Ribery and over-lapping + crossing won't be great either. I prefer Rafinha behind Robben.

Can is right footed by the way, so crossing won't happen much.

If he was fit again how come he didn't play? Is Heynckes that big on moving Badstuber to LB?

Jupp probably wanted to give him a little more time to get fit since with international duty coming up
