I hate the fact that in the most crucial stage of the league fifa allow the national teams to steal away the players from their clubs...

It is sadistic and disgusting. The best thing for football - for all clubs and international competitions - is if club and international are completely separate. August-March for clubs and April-July for international. Or even better if international football just go away.

To be fair diversity and immigration is taking some charm from international football but we're getting very off topic now.

Get a time machine and go back 50, 60 years in the past, and ask a non-German to describe a German footballer. They might mention the fair skin, perhaps blonde hair etc. Basically, the stereotypical German dude.

Go ask that question now. Stereotypes don't hold that much anymore.

It's not just the looks, it's the culture and identity. Oezil was born in Germany, to parents who were also both born in Germany. But is he fully German culturally? There's still a part of his culture that's Turkish. Nothing wrong with that, by the way. But you can't deny the lack of charm. Imagine an extreme scenario where diversity gets so big that every single country is exactly the same. National football would then become a battle of land areas, not just a cultural thing as well. For example, England and Germany is always heated because of the war that made a rivalry start. And it's fun to watch. But imagine the English squad had 5 Germany-born players and the German squad had 5 England-born players, would the match be as much fun to watch?

I understand your sentiment. Although I am pretty left wing on many issues but the radical and rapid cultural/ethnic change of Europe saddens me. I will address this issue later on the General Chat thread.

Ramsej is not going to like this news, because after their 'this-time-we-will-kick-Real-out' bubble burst, it looks like the local Juve fans are turning their envious looks at Bayern - and their after first ex, Coman injury now their other ex, Vidal is likely to be out for a long spell.

This morning I overheard a couple of Juve fans still in self pity mode complaining how they are unlucky in Champions League and the gods of this cup must hate them for not at least converting 1 chance from the few they had while the Bayern are lucky scoring those goals like the Ribery one. :)

I already started with the counter measures and started playing this for them, but from the look of it I'm afraid I only made things worse.

Good news is none of the players suffered serious injury:

- Lewndowski suffered painful bruising to the cheek bone.
- Rafinha & James suffered a minor injuries.
- Martinez suffered bruising to his knee.

All four players received extensive treatment today.
