Yes... But we also never had THIS many injuries ever...

FCBayernMunchen wrote:That luck also includes Kroos getting injured. :P

Yup - otherwise we would've never made it :P

bastos80 wrote:Woops, not harmstring. For some reason I mixed that up. Meant to say thigh
If you don't warm up properly and play too many games without enough rest, the first spot you'll feel it will most of the time be your thighs.
Still way too many injuries to simply blame it on bad preparation.

MAybe it's also a - in a way - cultural thing? Like Spanish doctors probably being a little more careful and predicting a longer break and German doctors being more accurate? Meaning that at Barcelona he could regularly play those players a little earlier than predicted while here it's a high risk?
Just poking around in the dark here though...

Benatia will probably suffer a muscle injury while in bed with his wife ;)

When the second half kicks off, who will be injured still?

I know that
Götze just started running again

Ribery should be fine by then, I think his injury was very slight

....costa?
Anyone else?

Bayern Munich go into the winter break top of the Bundesliga despite their players missing a total of 828 days through injury in the first half of the season -- a number only beaten by Hertha Berlin and Schalke.
Julian Green, Gianluca Gaudino and Sinan Kurt, were included to arrive at a total squad size of 27 players. Every player thus missed an average of 30.67 days during the 17 games of the season.

Only Hertha's average of 33.07 and Schalke's 34.5 were worse, while Darmstadt remained essentially injury free following their promotion to the Bundesliga.

The training starts on Monday and they will leave to Doha on Wednesday. Interesting to see if Ribs is on board. In the last presser Pep said that his injury isn't as serious as Kicker & Co. reported and that he will travel.

Training in Qatar will most likely start with the whole squad, altough there are some open tests.

Robben, Costa, Bernat and Lahm are back.
Alaba trained individually before. No Götze, Benatia or Ribéry.

The plan is that the whole squad is travelling to Qatar.

If they take part in team training depends on their fitness.
