We've got 6 (potential) starters injured right now.
At least they should all be back soon. If nobody picks up an injury, which is highly unlikely, in the next 3 games, we might actually have a full squad against Hamburg.

Did we actually had a game for which the full squad was available?

In May 2014 I posted this with regard to the Pokal final vs Dortmund:

In the end we ended up without several players for that game, and I don't believe we've had a full squad since. So it must be around 3 years... unsurprisingly the treble season. We were very lucky with injuries that year.

Very lucky or our players weren't forced to burn their muscles or whatever reason it might be...

Benatia and Ribery could've been spared for this meaningless game.

They'd get injured in another.

Especially with Benatia you don't need a calendar. When he gets injured you know it's been a month.

That luck also includes Kroos getting injured. :P

This is what transfermarkt.de has to say about the return of our players:

Douglas Costa 15.12.2015
Arjen Robben 15.12.2015
Franck Ribéry 31.12.2015
David Alaba 01.01.2016
Juan Bernat 01.01.2016
Medhi Benatia unknown

Games to go till winter break: 2

Game against HSV: 22.01.2016

The chances are pretty good, lads.

So any chance Costa and/or Robben could help for a few minutes against Darmstadt? (Better not to risk anything though - in hope we don't need it - in order to have them against Hannover...)

6/8 of our injured players have thigh injuries.
From my own experience they tend to happen because of deficits in warming up and not enough rest..

Woops, not harmstring. For some reason I mixed that up. Meant to say thigh
If you don't warm up properly and play too many games without enough rest, the first spot you'll feel it will most of the time be your thighs.
Still way too many injuries to simply blame it on bad preparation.
