Mutu how many do you remember?
My first was Bodo.
If you had to ask me who were the best I would go for Koepke, Neuer, Kahn
Placed Olli there cause as #1 he won nothing and cause of the mistake in the final after single handedly got Germany to the final...

Worst keeper in my memory was Jens I was never at ease with him...
Klinsmann made a big mistake... who knows what would have happened had Olli was in goal... !

Lehmann was really good. Ten times better than Koepke who for me was below average. Don't you remember Lehmann against Argentina?
The penalties?
And what about Italy? Plus he had no personality.
Kahn would have been the perfect leader for a home triumph

As long as the players don't pass back to Ter stegen, he should be fine.

19th April is Transfermarkt's estimated comeback. If that's accurate, he would be fit for both (potential) Champions League semi-final ties! The first legs will be played on 24th and 25th April. The second legs on 1st and 2nd May.

Maybe he can play some part in the match against Hannover 96 on 21st April?

I'm dying to see him back.

Lehmann was a good GK but for some unknown reason he had it backwards, usually the German players are equally or x2 better with the Nationalmannschaft compared to their respective teams while Lehmann was a world class with Arsenal but mediocre with Germany.
Nonetheless it was a huge mistake by Klinsmann not taking the King in a home tournament. Maybe Oli wasn't at the usual Spiderman standards he was at 99-02' but still was at a very high level.

Now, for the WC at Mother Russia there should be an evaluation of the readiness of Neuer. Luckily for Germany that Ter Stegen has his best year individually but still he is underperforming for the NT. If Neuer is fit, I mean 100% ready then it's a no-brainer, in tournaments, form doesn't play such a big role. If both are fit Neuer is #1 for the obvious reasons(leadership, talent, experience)

Heynckes: "Manuel Neuer's current situation is very positive. His injury is 100% healed, but now it's about upping the intensity step by step, then we'll see when he could return. I'm confident that it will happen this season still."

I have a feeling he will come back against Eintracht just before the 2nd league against Real.

I think he'll play next week...

He wouldn’t if we were still in it for the Bundesliga title, but he will no...

IF Neuer can join team training in/after the next ten days then IMO this is what his Comeback plan Should look like:-

1. Play for Bayern II against 1860 and see how he’s feeling with his foot in an actual game.
2. If everything goes alright then he is on the bench against Koln and comes on as a sub for 25-30 minutes.
3. If he is ready for the top level then in the final BL game Manuel starts against Stuttgart.

No updates means that at least he hasn't broken his leg again.

I think they're secretly hoping he'll be ready against Real Madrid, at least the second leg.

I don't think we will, or we should want to, see him play against RM. He will probably need a couple of games to get his rhythm back.

Well, obviously. The first leg and the rest of him were always ready, it's the second leg that gave him problems.

I agree with this. Neuer has a World Cup to play in. I don’t think we will see Manuel in goal in either leg against Real Madrid. Especially in the second leg at the Bernabeu (the place where he suffered this fracture in the first place)

I still believe and hope that Manuel takes it a step at a time and comes back against 1860 playing for the second team.

Does anyone have a BILD Plus subscription? I'm not sure if they talk about a comeback plan for Neuer at https://www.bild.de/bild-plus/sport/fus ... .bild.html

I predict Manuel Neuer to play in the Bundesliga against Eintracht Frankfurt on 28th April 2018, between the first and second legs against Real Madrid.
