For the first time in over half a year, Neuer completed a goalkeeper-specific training session today.

Salihamidzic just said live in Sky when asked about his personal feeling: "I would be happy if he would be able to play a few matches for us this season"

I thought that sounded like: WC in danger...

If we reach the dfb pokal finale I guess that he will be the one to defend our goal.

As for the WC ,I believe that he should only be the #2

If he’s good enought to keep the goal in Munich with an outstanding Ulreich, he’s good enough for the NT with an underwhelming Ter Stegen...

If I was Loew I would call him to the WC even if he didn't play a single match for Bayern by the end of the season.

You think he’d be back in shape TGAT fast?

Do you remember World Cup 2006? The referee actually had to check Lahm's cast and give him a permission to play and had authority to refuse.
And he played, without playing Bayern matches before.
And he scored his best ever goal, the World Cup opener.

Can you imagine if Messi is injured almost all season and Argentina were considering not calling him or leaving him on the bench?
Or Portugal with Ronaldo?

I would trust Neuer with 2 days of goalkeeper training over Ter Stegen. And he's already back in training.

Even Neuer isn't a super human anymore... I'd rather trust Ter Stegen who's having a fantastic season.
Apparently Hater of German Players #1

Given that he's proven time and time again that he's unable to bring club form to the national team though, how come you trust him so much? He's one of the poorest, if not the poorest, Nationalmannschaft goalkeeper I have ever seen.

Time from time?
He's struggled when he was #2, but he has stabilized. Trapp and Leno are suffering the same fate whenever they get to play once in a year. Even though Leno is trash anyways.

How come you trust Neuer who has been injured for half a year so much? There's no reference for you to say that he'd to better than Ter Stegen,

German gks.
Mutu how many do you remember?
My first was Bodo.
If you had to ask me who were the best I would go for Koepke, Neuer, Kahn
Placed Olli there cause as #1 he won nothing and cause of the mistake in the final after single handedly got Germany to the final...

Worst keeper in my memory was Jens I was never at ease with him...
Klinsmann made a big mistake... who knows what would have happened had Olli was in goal... !

Because from a rating of 1 (completely paralysed human with no limbs) to 100 (Neuer in form) I rate NT Ter Stegen a 40. Thus Neuer at 50 percent is for me better for the NT than MATS.

Lehmann was really good. Ten times better than Koepke who for me was below average. Don't you remember Lehmann against Argentina?
