I won't be surprised if that's the case. He has been used way too much recently, and a break would do him good. We need him fresh and healthy after the internationals.

Sounds like a very convenient minor injury to me.

According to BILD, Kimmich is not injured but he has an upset stomach.

Faint silly hope, but has it ever happened that a player travelled the next day?

If God forbids Kimmich does not make it , I would prefer Boa as RB ...

Rudy has played RB for Germany, he can be another option.

Rafinha has been class at LB this season and was better than Lahm at RB last season, I've got no problem in him filling in for Kimmich vs BvB.

The guy has been used like a machine for a long while now. I wouldn’t mind having him miss a tough weekend game at this part of the season.

Right back Joshua Kimmich has a slight cold and is sidelined as a precaution. [source]

According to the twitter page of Bayern & Germany Hummels and Lewa resumed team training. Even if they started, it is too early for Leverkusen. But I don't understant what is Kimmich doing? I had hopes that he will play in Leverkusen, but last evening he had back problems. I see photos of him on the pitch, but I don't know if is just individual training or full trainig with the team, he was the only one of the injuried players for there were hopes to be fit in time for Leverkusen. So, today Kimmich is doining individual trainig (and than it's game over for Friday, or he is in full training?
