Boateng has injured his right hand's thumb during yesterday's win against Portugal and has been flown to hospital for an MRI scan along with Hummels. [source]

He's missing the friendly match against Argentina through the injury he suffered against Schalke.

At the German NT PC today, Kopke told everyone that Boateng has no pains anymore and is ready to play this sunday against Scotland.
