I don't think he needed an excuse to get a break from international duty. Low would have given it to him.

Boateng says that he has had slight knee and adductor problems for ten days and could only play with painkillers against Hoffenheim.

Who the f*ck let him play? And why the f*ck did he play?! :x :x

Idk but I really don't trust Badstuber yet...he needs match fitness to get his mojo back. Playing Boa was crazy, could've done with Kimmich and Mats

I don't buy it... If he was really in pain Carlo would've never risked him. If there's one thing he's doing it right here, is being cautious with injuries.

Joachim Löw has decided not to replace Jérôme Boateng for the World Cup qualifier at San Marino and the friendly against Italy.

IMO it's a good thing that we did not send him... Loew would've probably played him.

He has water in the knee(it isn't that serious but it can be painful and it doesn't take much time to be treated from what I know), tall people problems...

I already had this. It's horrible. A really big pain.

But I got this with a knee sprain.

Did he have something like that too ?

They mentioned only water in the knee... I think I had that too but never went to get it checked out, the pain persisted for 1 year, it was more painful when I used to sit. I know others who treated it, they said it was simple.

It was probably because you had a sprained knee...
