We should not rush him for the first leg. He should be ready for the game in Munich.

I am absolutely for taking it slowly. Atletico will more than anything be a tactical battle. They will not come at us in waves, but they will try to hit us on the break. While Boa's ability is ofcourse a great addition in those situations, what will matter more than anything is how we cover the defense when they break.

Guardiola: "Maybe Boateng can start training with the team today or tomorrow. If it is enough for the semi-final, we'll see."

I'd say that he's being rushed but then they'd say that I'm being pessimistic. :P

I'd say it's arrogant. Without having more medical knowledge and having done as many tests on the player, you (or anyone else) has no right to question our whole medical department. Every single time someone comes back from injury there's claims by someone that they're being rushed back, as if they know better. What do you guys expect, that players retire upon getting injured so that they're not "rushed back"? Or at least wait until they're like 50 years old to start training again, just in case, because you know what's best for their body?

What is the full context? Do you think he's talking about the first leg of the semi-finals or the second leg?

Realistically the second leg should be a big possibility.

Any updates on whether he completed the full team training session or parts of it? The latter is more likely, but if it's the former I can mark him down as fit in our injury list.

The answer is out.
He completed the full training unit, but did not undertake any "intense battles". [source]
