Hey we need to keep his health in mind as well, apart from the sporting consequences it has. I am against rushing him except perhaps if it is Barca.

Looks like even Bayern's own fans will be holding that against him forever.

Until he redeems himself? So a player who has played against the best attack player in the world on several World Cups and CLs and has put him in his pocket on numerous occasions, making a mistake once in 6 or 8 matches has to redeem himself before the almighty anonymous internet armchair expert? [-X Bugger off, mate, I'd understand if that was coming from a Barca troll, but giving Boateng sh*t for that from our own ranks is [the opposite of clever].

Boateng can and will improve..he needs to have a feeling of "I need redemption" instead of "That was a blip" when he faces messi next..then everyone will know how good he is..

LOL, comparing Robben to Boateng. They dont even play in the same position, so how can he redeem the same as Robben? Offensive players are given WAY more chances to redeem themselves than defensive players, so stop whining about Boateng.

Boateng got played by maybe the best player in the history of football and you still crying for it???
Stop acting like a kid and move on.

People still talk about that? He was left alone by his teammates... Messi was coming at him full speed - only way to win this was a foul... (before entering the box obviously...) He decided not to do that, wrong decision, happens... Heck, if you have enough speed I bet some people on this forum could make pro defenders look bad (not me though...  :P  ) - and this was Messi for crying out loud... Boateng got past that and I hope he will come back stronger - if possible...
Thanks for nothing, :pep: !!

And get a red card as the last defender? :P

Btw Carrasco broke Messi's back something like that or worst, it can happen to anyone.

You can foul somebody without having to be brutal, you now?! ;)

Rafinha tried to catch it before it went in and missed - he was not the last one - even so, with 8 minutes to got - better risk it than conceding IMHO...
