Three months: he wont even be ready for selection with the NT.

Boateng is THE player who under Pep benefited the most, this season was solid enough and his playmaking skills were fantastic!
He is at the moment an irrepleceable player, within our roster no one can get in Boateng's boots maybe Javi Martinez but still no solid partner...

IF Boateng stays out more than a month will be a huge blow and may cost us big time against Juve
Pray for Jerome!

3 months???? Is that official????

Boateng is irreplaceable for our team. He has strength, long pass, speed, anticipation, aggressiveness...

With our current tactics maybe Alaba will have to play a CB role in a 3 man defense. I have literally 0 faith in a Badstuber - Martinez partnership. At least not with this tactics. We would get raped in counters

From what I've seen only SportBILD are saying that it's THAT serious. Still looks like a long injury but hopefully not 3 months.

Damn, the estimate just keeps increasing every couple of hours. It's looking very bad :(

We're left in a screwed up situation to be honest. Boateng is one of the very few players in our squad who cannot be replaced easily. Our defensive structure is very dependent on him. I doubt any of our other CBs, as good as they are if healthy (!), can fill his role.

As important as Boateng is, Bayern have the biggest roster in the world, and if things are done properly by the club, we should be able to align and rotate 3 good center-backs till the end of the season.
However, if Bayern are on the trail of a central defender for next summer, the negotiations could be accelerated in order to reach an agreement during this transfer window.

I guess this is the one worst injury we could've been subjected to (barring Neuer). Every other positition we'd have a good alternative for, but Boateng...

It's hitting really hard right now, is all.
