By most estimates, he should have been back by now. According to transfermarkt's current estimate, he should be back in team training tomorrow, but I doubt that.

LOL

Look at those first 4-5 secs! I immediately thought "ouch, he's still in pain" - but it's just him positioning himself for the ball... :D

That is non-news. Even Boateng is doing light training but he is far from fit. I care only for when the player is fit to play.

You think? Training with the ball usually means he's VERY close to team training, which means he could be in the squad against Bremen already...

He won't be ready for Juve, but I think he's going to be 100% fit by the 1/4 finals.

BILD: Bayern fans can hope that Martínez will be fit enough for the Juventus 2nd leg. [source]

[-X [-X No No , don't risk him, there is absolutely no need to rush Martinez and risk an injury that will cost him/us
I don't say that Juventus will be a walk in the park, of course I'd like to have Javi as a starter but I'd like to keep him fresh and ready since we have the upper hand on this tie plus that it's too early, if it was semifinals OK... but it isn't

Lahm-Kimmich-Benatia-Alaba will be a very good defensive line, if we can't qualify with this defensive line up and a 2-2 result at Turin, let's go home then no more excuses and there is no need to risk any player.

If he starts team training today, it will be over a week of team training for him. Usually 3-4 days of full team training is considered enough. Ribéry played after 1 day of team training; that's rushing a player (in fact he got re-injured). Playing Martínez after 8x more team training sessions than Ribéry, and having been out for a far shorter time, is considered normal if not playing it safe. In fact, if he starts full team training today I would expect him to be in the squad on Saturday.

Of course, the big "if" is that he starts full team training today. Again, let's see...

Even if he trains for a week before the game I wouldn't replace Benatia or Kimmich at this point (I think Benatia is just a better defender in general and currently Martinez has nothing on Kimmich either).

I'd just let him regenerate properly to make sure we have a full squad (or close) for the final few games of the season.
