It is too early to call the injury. Hopefully it will be nothing serious.

Javi Martínez [Javier Martínez Aginaga]

Postby MoFattal » Wed Aug 13, 2014 8:59 pm

Well, now I'm worried. That would be a huge blow to the 3-4-3 system. Plus, I don't know of an available alternative in the market. Schweini as Libero?

Switch back to 433. Pep said we're likely to play 4 at the back this season so I can imagine that.

Might be, but I think it would be early to do so as our entire preseason was based on the 3-4-3 variations.

Too bad for him. Everything's started bad during the Confederations Cup last year. I just hope it's not kreutzbandriss like they mentioned during the match.

Lateral and cruciate ligament rupture apparently...

This is not your everyday torn acl....This is an advanced torn acl.

Bravo, fúcking bravo!  #-o #-o

This injury is becoming a real problem these days. In the last season there were probably 10 top players who suffered this injury.

Badstuber paid the price, 19 months out and who knows will he return to his old best level.

Nearly 6 month ? We're lucky if he returns to the training ground in 6 month...

I would count on 7 months because after the injury comes fitness, slow recovery and precautions that he doesn't renewal the injury.

He'll also have to fight back into the team, getting more minutes every game. Could end up being out for the whole season.

How can this be so serious... This guy has had bad luck recently. First year was very promising but now injuries are ruining him.

6 months from now means middle February which also means K.O. phase of CL is starting and the best Bayern performers will probably have pole position in starting 11.

Yes, he's particularly out for the entire season. To catch the form I guess it will take time, too. Means, in April Martinez could be 100% fit and in playing rythym unless he becomes like old Robben from 2010 and 2011 when he right away after recovery put his boots and kick asses.
