Except that if James doesn't play on Saturday, which he won't, Bayern have every right not to allow the player to play for the NT, is that correct? That's why they are trying to convince Bayern, because it's Bayern making the decision.

Thing is, the guy is a marketing machine. Not allowing him to play for Colombia means he won't be happy about it and the Colombians' new-found love for Bayern takes a dent. I'm therefore in favour of him playing. Maybe they can come to an agreement that he only plays a half, for example.

If he doesn't play on Saturday and he flies 10+ hours to South America for two tough qualifiers, we can just give up on protecting players from themselves. No way KNVB will take no again from us for Robben.

I'm not too familiar with James' Real career but my Real friend told me that James' decline at Real came after he went to his NT half fit, got injured, and ended up on the Real bench after. If that's true I hope he learnt a lesson there.

Colombia aren't the only nation with important qualifiers. Spain play Italy, NL play France... Everyone has tough games, that's a shit excuse.

Please ... :coffee:
For good football : Neuer - Kimmich, Boateng, Hummels, Alaba - Vidal (Tolisso), Thiago (Rudy) - Robben, Müller (James), James (Ribéry) - Lewandowski

For boring football : 4-3-3

I'm not making logical sense from your post.

- If he is still under cure when the internationals are being played, it's obvious that he wouldn't be playing. No problem there.
- If he's not under cure when the internationals are being played, then he is not under cure and is being paid the salary that is in his contract, same as the rest of the squad.

That is YOUR point of view... ;)

If he were fit to play, he would... What use is he to them risking him in this game and then missing him in the next bunch of?

Also, he's training individually from yesterday.

Send via carrier pigeon.

My quote is from 18.05.It's saying that "He doesn't want to risk",so i think that he should not play against Werder Bremen and in first game with Colombia against Venecuela on 1.09.

And if he feels allright, and there's no risk to aggravate his injury - let him play agains Brazil on 5.09.

Oh,focking bloody hell.I knew this happened earlier.

https://okdiario.com/real-madrid/futbol ... mbia-70304

The Colombian Football Federation has been known to pressure James’s past clubs to let him travel with the national team, even when he has been injured, and it's going to happen again.
