Bad news! Ribery has knee pain again and is unlikely to feature tomorrow against Man City. [source]

Ok, now I'm worried. Without Ribery and Robben, our only creative outlet would be the currently out-of-creativity Gotze :|

Bayern must really start as quickly as possible to look for Robbery successors... First names I have in mind... Draxler & Reus or Cuadrado & Martens

I think is really necessary to start looking for a Ribery's succesor. Robben gets better with the passing of time, but i don't think we have a natural LW on the team in addition to Franck.. We have Muller to cover the absence of Robben, and we've been using Gotze as LW, but he doesn't have the depth that Franck have when attacking. Maybe we could use shaqiri as a LW, or i don't know. Today while reading the news, I read this article.

http://www.goal.com/en/news/15/germany/ ... ID=HP_BN_3

It's really, really bad that he doesn't even have played an entire game since I can't remember (i think his last complete game was before DFB Pokal final.)He's having too many injuries and he's 31, he is supposed to be able to play other 3 or 4 years.

I've said before and will say again that with the reoccurring back injuries last year I think that it is likely that Ribéry's career is rapidly coming to an end. With injuries like that you not only have to worry about the probably inevitable progression of the original back issue, but also the chain effect it has on the rest of the body. Very sad to say it but I think he'll be forced to retire pretty soon.

Schweini is even worse, but he keeps coming back and back and back ;)

Actually I'd say Ribéry is much worse off largely because of the nature of his original injury. Schweini's may be bad as far as longterm and the extent to which it's ongoing, but many players (including himself obvious) come back from it as we've seen, which isn't so much the case with Ribs' original injury which continues to have a chain effect. And plus I thought we all agreed ages ago Schweini is actually superhuman

It just sucks that such greats like Schweini, Robben and Ribs have such a long list of injury stuff.. I am afraid that atleast one of them has to retire sooner then they want it themself tbh..

Franck Ribery will be back again in 2 weeks as he has almost recovered from his knee injury. He could be available for the game against Werder Bremen.

That's very odd.. Because Guardiola said this Friday ( yesterday ) it's the same as with Schweini.. It's going better but they need time and there is no estimate. So it's very odd a French paper knows more ;)
