His chronic week-long injuries a bit of a concern, though. Not as bad as Robben's (because when he's out, he's out for good), but still something to consider alongside his age.

"I have pain in my left buttock," the Bayern Munich midfielder told French TV channel TF1.
"I underwent tests and there is something," he added without giving anymore details.
Ribery, who missed training on Saturday, played the whole game in the goalless draw against Georgia on Friday, a result which left France second in qualifying Group I and three points behind Spain. [source]

Interesting... But if he played the whole game then its nothing serious I guess.

He always has these small niggling injuries when he plays more than two games in a row, it's something we have to live with.

Hopefully that means he won't play the next game and will be fit for the weekend.

"Potential injury..." Whatever that means, doesn't sound too serious, he's keeping his strenght for Bayern

I read somewhere on facebook "not sure of their sources" that Ribery has an ankle injury and that's why he's not even on the bench today. Might be available for Wednesday's game though.

Bild has an article with an unusual headling implying that Ribery is injured:
http://www.bild.de/sport/fussball-wm-2014/franck-ribery/ribery-ronaldo-ibrahimovic-33460508.bild.html
The article, however, offers no evidence that he is injured, but merely states that he was kicked around in the two recent France internationals, and needed treatment a few times. And it acknowledges that he played the full 90 min last night.

Has anyone any other information? I think that there is currently no reason why he shouldn't be in the lineup against Dortmund on Saturday.
"Wherever that man went, he went gratefully."

He received this hard tackle in the second half and he was grimacing in pain for some minutes even though he played the full match
