Alaba will do fine. As long as it's a minor injury, I'll just think of it as a holiday for Ribsy.

1) He probably wouldn't have played against Bochum anyway, so he will only miss Koln, if at all.
2) The board are convinced that Alaba and our other subs are good enough to make up for injuries in the CL. If we can't beat Koln simply because Alaba will be playing, then we have to stop kidding ourselves. There will still be time to take action if needed in January.

What part of his body is injured?... And what's the exact diagnosis?... I just hope he rests well so that it doesn't become another persistent injury....

As for Alaba, I have no worries starting with him as LAM/LW against Koeln... he has generally performed well this year, and that's his best position IMO... On the other hand, we are capable of beating Koeln without Ribery, Schweini, and even Robben.... no worries....

Seems pretty okay. From what I understand he can be available against Köln, but the club wont risk it.

Completely agreed... For all I care, he can start his holidays right today... :D
He had a successful first half of season.... I wouldn't mind giving him a good rest time before the start of preparations for the second half of the season....

I also agree. We need him fresh and healthy to achieve our targets.

He is a crazy Frenchman. We should call him "Ribéry le Gaulois" this year. :D

Gaulois were Asterix, Obelix etc., the known indomitable Gauls.
You couldn't bring them down whatever you did to them.
Ribery's magic potion is his love for Bayern. 8)
