There's still nothing on Bayern's Homepage. I sure as hell hope not...
We've just had a blow to our defense.... not another one in our forward line...
We need him against Fiorentina...

seems that he was injured after all.
I don't know how serious his injury is, but since Bayern's official website didn't mention it at all, I fear it's something serious.
I hope it's not the recurrence of his old injury.

Ribery will undergo surgery after world cup because of a groin injury and he may miss the opening of next season.

Not again..... :(
what is it?... what if it gets worse during the wc2010.

I hoped he would have a injury-free pre-season after years... He (and the team) really need that...

Read that

But Rummenigge then added "Ribery has Groin Problems , but it is not sure whether he needs an operation or not"

The Surgery lasted 90 minutes (Like A football match !!) and was Successful

He is not allowed to move for 10 days , then he can start doing minor running

but he will be back before the season begins

No surgery operation needed for Ribery but it's still unclear the estimation time of his return.
