Nobody should be bigger than the club. Not even club legends.

That's exactly what we did for Müller and look who's crying.

Franck Ribéry

Who bashed Lahm? Give me a quote. And the context. I don't like empty claims. And criticism when it's deserved is another thing.

Seek and you shall find... maybe the poster above could tell you more about that, he likes to bash everyone except Pep.

I don't want the fans to bash him, that's crazy. And I of course wish a speedy recovery to Franck the player and the person. Having said that, may his injury become the necessary starting point of a true long term plan to replace him, because he can no longer be a stater or a dependable option for Bayern.

Right..lets respect the club legends..Our defence has become laughing stock..so lets sign augenthaler and we won't complain even if mertesacker dribbles past him and waves him goodbye and scores..Coz i have lots of sentiments and respect our legend.

I find it harder and harder to respect this egoistic non-performer who still thinks he's the king of all Bayern players.
He never was very smart but I actually thought what he has in his head is enough for him to notice himself that his career is over.

Now he's bitching about everything, hasn't scored in the CL for 2 years and still sees himself on the level of Messi & Ronaldo, calls his daddy Uli for every little bullshit.

I can respect him for all the great years he had here and that he was an essential part of the greatest Bayern years I have witnessed. He always managed to make-up for his shitty character with good performances. Nobody cared that he though of himself as the king, we even called him that ourself, because he actually played well.
Sadly that is everything he's doing, living on his past.

He's really had a lot of credit with me, same as Uli, but they've nearly lost it all.

You can call me a plastic fan now but I actually care more about this club than about Ribéry's inflated ego.

Ribery is a legend, but what he's doing shouldn't be accepted. Simple as that.

There's a huge difference between Lahm and Ribery, and that's why the former has earned all my respect

Lahm retired from the NT when he felt that he was no longer fit enough to play with club and country. Many people criticised him for doing so, but he knew what he was doing. Then he hanged up his boots before the end of his contract because he realized his decline was noticeable and he didn't want to be a dead weight for the team he loves. =D> =D> =D> =D>

Ribery on the other hand is acting like if he was 25 and the reality is that he´s no longer good enough to be a starter. If he cannot accept his role and starts bitching around everytime he does't play, then I'm sorry but I cannot respect him anymore and trust me, I've always been on his side even when most people wanted him out back in 2009

I want the club to respect our legends, but legends need to also respect the club. Ribery could still be very useful for this team, but if he thinks he's 25 and one of the best players in the world rather than a backup then I can't defend him anymore.
