You'd have to be blind to consider Axel Witel and Alex Texeira "stars" compared to Robben and Ribery, regardless of age.

Yes and no in the sense that in the Chinese league all three would be stars anyway. Ribéry would be the bigger star, true, but the other toys would last longer.

Ribery "is in great pain" and will be examined at Säbener Straße. He left the stadium on crutches.

Ribery is not the problem, the problem is the Board who never try to give him and Robben a decent competitive partner for their starting position.

I just hope that they wont extend his contract. He should start to realise that he must go.

Our fanbase is becoming a laughingstock... no respect for club legends, no respect for the people who made Bayern. Fans with 0 sentiments, what kind of fans are you?

I'm close to having enough with this new age football, new age fans... Uli is back with his vision so, I don't think that it should be me to quit. Uli is here to stay guys, so if you don't like it, quit or start supporting another club.

The legens should realise when is time to become a legend and stop beeing an active player. Another legend, Philip Lahm, realised that he will always remain part of the Bayern family but for Bayerns succes he needs to make a step back because his body is not longer at 20 or 25 years. Here it is not a pension, it is a footbal club that in the end must be efficient and directet for sporting succes.

While I agree, we can't have a problematic attitude.

I'm all for him retiring here, but he's no longer offering us the best of our available options. if he accepts that and either works harder and improves or accepts a bench role (without causing trouble as rumours suggest he did with Carlo) then I'm sure most of us would have no problem with him staying even for years.

Uli is not the first one to grow mad and/or senile and damaging his life project more than helping it... And I will continue to criticize that... He never had visions... Ever... Tell me ONE thing the loudmouth ever predicted that actually came true...
He's a great businessman and representative, but not a visionary... Nor a soccer expert...
And since you hate soccer as a business you should not oversupport him IMHO... I don't want this club to go mad... Clever spendings is a great idea... But then they SHOULD be clever and not dumb... Or just for the sake of it...
Which means: good scouting, capable sporting directors, squad planners and scouts... And not just yes men... He had it with Sammer - he doesn't with Hasan yesmanhamidzic...

Some of you used to bash Lahm last season as well... look at the result, he's gone and nothing is better. And then look at Dani Alves...
