Looks like Costa is injured. Missing the Olympics and returning to Munich. According to the commentator of the training session.

he has a thigh injury. Glad he is not going, we would be risking to much for him with many other players in rough shape.

Can't wait to see him play again. Hopefully he'll recapture his form.

I'm holding back with Douglas Costa, I think that he peaked last season in the first months where he has the MVP and the real Douglas is the player of the second part of the season. Since the season ended I see him on social only being on vacation or rehab and I'm wondering if he knows that he has to work on his finishing and decision making at some points of the game

I know that I'm behaving in a pessimistic way but it's quite unlikely for D.Costa to stabilize his performances on the level he performed at his first months which was magnificent plus that at 26-y how much can you improve your finishing and your goal stats?

What else would you have an injured player do on his time off?

That's what I'm worried about... quite long injury don't you think?
It does affect some players!
