AT LAST!
Should we think of a return vs BATE or might we have to wait for a week.

He still needs more time.

How about we don't bring the unfit 20 year old to Belarus?

We certainly won't!

Having said that, IMO he is the only one of our injured players, whose presence will improve the quality of our starting lineup... I'm so very eager to see this lovely kid back in action soon...

^ Yeah. And not just because he is a great LB, but also because he would give JH the chance to rest/rotate the CBs.

Guys you're getting carried away. He is not back to full team training yet, and there isn't any day pencilled in yet for his comeback to training. Before he starts full team training we cannot start predicting which match he will play in.

Besides, there's always the chance for setbacks and small problems once he starts full team training again.

He'll start making sub appearances after the international break probably.

Alaba will play in an as-yet unnamed friendly on Thursday 11th October, after which a decision will be taken on whether or not he would be included in the Austrian national team for their 16th October clash against Kazakhstan in Vienna, Alaba's birthplace.

He should therefore be in the squad for the 20th October Bundesliga match against Fortuna Düsseldorf.

Good to see.

When he's back, and we have a more balanced back line, then we'll see exactly what we're capable of.

Hopefully Contento comes back soon too!

Well, I surely don't see him at Austria squad because even if he would be ready for Fortuna, I would think about him once more and see is there any possibility to renew his injury.
