"Today, the disappointment prevails over David's injury. It does not look good. The initial diagnosis is not so positive." [source]

Meanwhile, the Kronen-Zeitung reports that Alaba has possibly suffered a medial ligament tear or even a torn ACL. "I'm in very, very severe pain, can barely walk, do not really know what's going on," the Bayern star said after the game. [source]

 F*** all internationals esp the useless friendlies... f*** uefa/fifa...
Doesn't the Ausrtria coach knows that friendlies are there to try different players? so why did he use the best??? The elite clubs should impose a rule over N.T coaches... Their stars should't be called for useless Friendlies (those after a qualifier)

Expect the worst, guys. I'm just hoping he'll be fit for preseason training.

I don't think so... 6 months... see Martinez from August and he still hasn't started proper training... 7months+
Poor Alaba...
God be with him [-o< ... he needs all the mental support possible... twice in one season...

It's an MCL or an ACL.

If it's an MCL, recovery ranges from 1 week (grade I severity, best case recovery) to 4 months (grade III severity, worst case recovery). [source]

A torn ACL will take 6-7 months. [source]

let us hope for the least worse...
Juve had a scare about Marchisio last week, they thought he was out for a very long period, however he might be back in time to face Monaco... - lucky them.

And there I was glad nothing happened in the Germany games.

I hate friendlies.

At least Bernat won't have a competition, heh...

Only 3 Bayern players haven't been injured this season, only three. Somebody is doing a bad job through the whole season. We never had so many injured players 2 years ago, but we do have in the last year and a half.

Get well soon, David!

Last year I had the same feeling... however this year we've been very unlucky... the kind of injuries were inflicted by other players or bad falls.
