So you are telling that Alaba can get injured? I thought he was of steal... Someone of steal who runs real fast and never stops. No, I couldn't believe that he got injured. Good luck Alaba, you're human after all, hope to see you back soon. :(

Good thing Bernat is playing outstanding, but I'm not sure how the 3 back will be able to function without Alaba there. If they do continue it with Dante he will really have to step up. What's the worst case scenario on time out for a MCL injury?

Alaba is our "secret weapon" rigth now, when he shows up in attack is ussually unmarked.

With the current formation 3-4-2-1 i see dante playing..

I could tell by the look on his face that it was a significant injury. Athlete's know when it's more than just a knock. He definitely showed some signs of worry. I've always felt that he and Neuer were the two players we couldn't afford to lose because they really can't be replaced. You can say the same for Alonso and Robben as well.

at least it was not an anterior cruciate ligament injury, and the fact he was able to walk off the field is encouraging.

This isn't good. Hopefully the tests are not overly negative. :|

Your wording in the first sentence means he won't be back until 2016 ;)

If something is beneficial is that we don't need him soooo much,BuLi table is in our favor and we got it done with CL group phase plus that he can't rest properly and he will come back at full force after the winterpause,Bernat can make it hopefully as LB and we have Dante,Badi for the CB role.

Get well soon Davidd, you were a monster on the field

It's not too bad if he comes back in January I guess. The goals for the first half of the season have been achieved. It might mean more of Rode/Hojbjerg/Gaudino in the team though, which I have always wanted.

On the other hand I hope we don't lose momentum, we need to start January very strong unlike last year.
