Daniel van Buyten

Van Gaal said: "We’ve lost another centre-half in Van Buyten, so it’s getting more and more difficult"...

He got a knock in his face: any news about his injury? Do we have to expect a defensive masked duo??
Still missing my dear Deisler...

If Micho and Van Buyten are going to miss DFB Semi Finals I don't want to know who is going to replace them. Remember who is our coach........

He will put Tymoschuk and Badstuber as CBs and Contento as LB (I am sure that Alaba wont play )

it seems DvB is fit to play in Gelsenkirchen. I'm just hoping he can be as his best, as it seems he's lost his spirit after the contract extension...

Its supposedly a 'clash of heads' and he left in a daze. Does not sound like a major injury to me...we shall see though.

No from what i saw his knee collided with Farfan's which is why he was limping. He got hit in the inside of the leg so lets hope its not too bad! As others have said, Contento is good but I'd rather have the same back four we had in the first leg against Man U.

Yes... Knee injuries could be very bad.... Let's hope it's not.
Contento played very well... but I still prefer the Lahm-DvB-Micho-Holger combination because of its superior defensive stability.

As far as I know, he just bruised his left knee, no major damage. Can be painful, but shouldn't keep him off the pitch for too long.

We will need him very much against ManU, I like contento but i dont want to put him against valencia.

Even Nani is worrying me now considering Lahm's performence against schalke.

hmm...
So I guess we won't have him tomorrow... He won't be ready for a 90(or 120)min fight in the CL if he couldn't even train slightly today.
