the problem with italy is it does not attract the worlds best players anymore- they can only sign players past their peak as they don't have the money to compete with bayern, man utd, barca, real, chelsea etc - its is a retirement home for players- thats why the standard of football is so dull and boring.

I hope Van Gaal is ready for an ULTIMATE defensive style...I don't want to hear "they had 11 players behind the the midfield blah blah"...you KNOW they will be defending like CRAZY; get your players ready to shoot from a distance and to defend vs counter attacks.

I would say:
..................................Butt...............................
.Lahm................DvB...............Micho.........Badstuber.
..........................Tymo.........MvB.........................
....Muller..............................................Schweini.....
.............................Olic.....Gomez..........................
In the second half, i predict 2 changes:
Schweini takes the Tymo position and Tymo is subbed out for Ribery as LM...
Muller going out for Robben.......
The RobBery is bak! 8)

depends how you look at it? we start him take the lead and take him off, or we could bring him on chasing the game and still risk injury? or you could look at it and say- well its worth playing him to qualify for the next stage because we want to stay in the competition and make as much money from it as we can and lets have it right- he will be leaving next summer for Real Madrid anyway- but if we do risk him and he gets injured we could still lose the game, lose his services for a year- and scupper any chance of real madrid buying him for silly money next summer- depends which way you look at it- if he is 80% fit i would start him- otherwise he isnt worth risking.

GOAL.COM is reporting Robben injured his ankle in practice today. No official report from Bayern, though. Hope this is not bad. I do not understand how one's body could be so frail; how will he hold up in the German winter? Good Lord.
