He is confirmed not to play against BATE, along side with Holger Badstuber (cruciate), Luiz Gustavo (groin) and Emre Can (ligaments).

Good news is his thigh hamstring is healed.

Bad news is his back problems are back.

Well, at least he has develop a sense of humour about it: "Maybe I should start next season in January ..." LOL.

I am fed up - this is so rhetoric.
I guess the only reason he is still with us cause nobody wants his burden!!!

Don't you ever say that. Respect our players even if they are in their toughest point.
Arjen will comeback and he will dominate again.

Just wish him luck

It's not that I don't respect him. As long as he is a Bayern player (and even after) I will support him and wish him all the best. But we have to look at the club's best interest. Unless Robben accepts a wage cut I do not think it is beneficial to keep him at the club much longer.

This is the main problem, really. Why the hell did we extend his contract last spring? I am sympathetic with the viewpoint that we should not kick players out if they don't want to leave (partly because I still feel guilty about Lucio and van Bommel) but we kinda dug our own grave in this matter, didn't we? We had Shaqiri on board, we were holding all the cards, then we extend Robben's contract right before his, uh, let's call it "controversial" performance in the CL final which gave him the reputation of a choker in every club around the world. It was not a financially or a sportingly responsible decision - we are stuck with a player with fairly low market value but high wages, while he remains incapable of providing a lot of sporting value to the club and is far behind the alternatives we have in his position.

So now all that is left for us to do is pray to whatever deity we believe in that he'll be back on his feet soon (at least it seems he's been humbled quite a fair bit over the year). :|

I can see some reduction in wages being in the books if his injuries keep up. I know Bayern aren't as cash strapped as Inter with Sneijder but Bayern aren't stupid. When a player isn't fulfilling his duties for the money you are paying him especially when he is nearing his twilight years a wage reduction should be discussed
