Finally! I just hope we don't rush him only for the sake of the Dortmund game (unless he really is 100% fit :D )

I think it depends a lot on the half time score. he will be in the bench. If we are in a comfortable position, I dont think we will let him play. But if we need a goal to win or worse, to draw, we will bring him on in the last 20- 25 mins i guess.

Sorry to disappoint. Robben is NOT starting against Dortmund. Uli said on German radio the Dutch will take a seat instead but shall be available in case things turn ugly.

Goal.com wrote:Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben has revealed that he played in pain on and off for three months but that he is now hoping to put the worst injury of his career firmly behind him.

The 27-year-old returned to action against Borussia Dortmund last Saturday after a frustrating spell which saw him struggle with a hernia injury before being sidelined with a public bone problem.

"I've had pain three months from the start of the competition,” the former Chelsea and Real Madrid man told Voetbal International. "This was a pubic bone inflammation, a complicated injury and the worst injury I ever had. No idea how it was created; it can happen to anyone."

Robben is now hoping to get back to his best as quickly as possible, though he hopes that Bayern’s fans appreciate that they will need to be patient with him.

"It will take time to get back to my old level," he warned. “I need to establish some rhythm and that is only done through minutes [on the field]. Physically, I will get better, [but] above all, I must have confidence in my body to recover."

Robben arrived in Munich from Madrid two seasons ago and has established himself as a real crowd favorite at the Allianz Arena in the interim, having played a key role in the club's progression to the 2009-10 Champions League final.

After the match against Werder Bremen, Robben warned, on the verge of tears: "It's not over yet because I often have pain. Sometimes it's a bit better, then worse again."

So, he's still not yet shaken that injury. Hope it is not the smell of a Deisler again

Don't even go there! The sound of that name already brings me sadness, but being used in relation to Robben is too much to handle!

Robben has a flu infection and he's remained in Munich while the rest of the team flew to Manchester.

Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt: "His whole family is sick. He stays at home, but everything is tiptop muscular."

This only makes the game on Sunday much more interesting. Count on this flu attack to be 'suddenly' cured by then.

Well there are five days left for Sunday. Of course he'll be cured ;)

Robben's pain "is not completely gone" yet. :(

Therefore, Robben wishes for the new year are nothing more but "to stay fit - but I do not know if that's so easy for me". What helps? "Maybe pray?" Robben said with a smile that now seems somewhat forced. Possibly he thinks back to the injury break, the "shit time," as he calls it.
