Does anyone know if it's just a minor setback or if it means it's a potentially chronic/career-threatening thingy?

We oughta rename this thread to 'Arjen Robben, read at your own risk: Not for the faint of heart.'

Good news though, apparently he felt what the doctors are now calling a normal effect of his increased training. TZ has gone as far as saying his comeback is NOT compromised.

Robben comeback against Dortmund? It looks good

"Both the doctors and he are quite optimistic," Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said on Monday.

Tomorrow he will resume full team training.

I really hope he'll be actually recovered, not just drugged up to try to beat Dortmund.

He wont start that's for sure. Maybe a 20-25 minutes cameo if we are a goal down or tied,if we win he won't be risked.

What I think is important is to use Kroos in Schweni's position. Alaba is not going to work.Besides Muller as RW doesn't work for me as well, He's a much better goal thread in the centre & Alaba can play RW as well,so hopefully Robben will replace Alaba after 65-70 minutes.

That is the best possible scenario at this point of time.

I fully agree, but Kroos is Jupp's "project", so there's no hope of dislodging him from CAM as long as Robben stays injured and Müller on the flank.

For me seeing kroos is like seeing Schweni all over again. Just that kroos is a much lazier version who doesnn't defend. Otherwise they are completely alike in most respects. Kroos is actually Bastian's heir wether people like it or not. Low actually has much better tactical sense than Heyneckes & he knows what is Kroos' best position.

Heynckes seemed happy with Alaba's performance against Augsburg so we probably will see him there again.

Robben won't start. Fingers crossed that he'll make the bench though [-o<

Wish it was from a more reliable source so it wouldn't pass merely as an interesting opinion...

Finally he is back in the team. It would be nice to see him on the field from 1st minute. I'm waiting this Saturday so badly and a refree signal for begining. :D
