Apparently he's also gonna be part of the squad travelling to the away match in Freiburg. Honestly, I'd rather wait for him, for another week or two than rush him back into the thick of things too early, risking another near-term injury. I hope the medical staff know what they're doing.

In my opinion it would be a bad idea to play Robben. He is fresh out of rehab from surgery and who knows what might happen in a match. He needs to be eased back into the squad as a preventative measure. Call me a realist, but I can definately see the opposition going after Robben when he returns to derail our season. We need to make sure he is 100% fit before he sees the pitch.
Van Gaal's inconsistency with sitting players because they are not "fully match fit yet" is fully apparent now. He would not put Toni on the senior squad list for two matches when he was fully fit, but he immediately places Robben back into the squad only two weeks after surgery when it seems reasonable to believe he is not match fit yet.

Knowing LVG, we'll see Robben in second half and we'll change our whole strategy and formation :/

I wouldn't be surprised to see another draw..

LVG said that robben will be at least on the bench so expect him to play at least in the second half. IMO he shouldn't play the whole match in order not to lose him for another long period.

The last statement I heard about Ribery was that he would be out indefinitely until he is 100%. That will probably be just before the end of the season so Franck can go on another self-promotion tour in the hopes of being transferred. I'm no longer convinced he cares about FCB, sorry just my humble opinion.

I also read that Robben still has some soreness so he won't be playing any time soon either.
