Arjen Robben misses the trip to Istanbul with a pinched nerve as a precaution.

Bild: Robben's return to team training is postponed. He's undergoing necessary tests every day. The problem with the sciatic nerve reminds of the situation in December of last year.

Suddenly, from a 'precaution' we have a situation where over a week later they find out he's suffered a recurrence of an injury.

Honestly If Robben is fit and ready by the end of the international break then he should only play in selective games from now on. The guy is a big game player and Jupp should save him for the Important games (Like Real Madrid/Zidane save Ronaldo for the big games)

Der Klassiker, the Sevilla games and the Pokal Semifinal are the only games right now in which I’d start Robben. That’s one game each week.

Regarding Robben, there is still hope for the second leg, but here we must wait & see.
