It's ribs so nothing serious, I guess. Maybe a reason to not be called up for the NT. :coffee:

I do not trust any diagnosis from our side related to Arjen. We never get those right.

If my hearing serves me well, Ancelotti said that he'll be out for 1 or 2 days so nothing serious.

He wasn't called up, but there would be talks today between Robben, Ancelotti and Blind (and Robben really really wanted to go, but was mainly held back by Bayern and the awful history between Bayern and the Dutch NT). With this rib thing I'm pretty sure Blind won't call him up. Dutch media is at least suggesting that atm

Arjen Robben will not travel to play for the Netherlands this week as he will stay in Munich to recover from a slight rib injury.

KNVB is still trying to get Robben to join the Dutch NT for the games against Belarus and France. Latest is that they're monitoring him, and are in contact multiple times a day. #-o

To be honest, I'd like to see him getting some playing time. He seemed a bit "rusty" in his games after the injury and could make use of those minutes. The problem is that his history with the NT has always hurt him and us.

Upside of the Dutch games: both are at home (=good turf usually)
Downside of the Dutch games: one of them is against Belarus...not known as a footballing country, so I'm fearing quite a bit of fouling.

Dutch KNVB confirmed Arjen Robben WILL NOT join the National Team for the upcoming qualifiers (that means BOTH qualifiers) against France and Belarus. He's not fit enough, according to the KNVB.
