The heart rate monitor showed his 30 minutes of continuous running at a fast pace up to 138 beats per minute, then 149, 153, and on his 4th lap around the practice courts was at 156. The maximum pulse was 180 heartbeats per minute for the Dutchman!

Is that good or bad?

From what I know, it's not that good... I myself have an increased heart rate over 100 but not this much over. It's normal for heart rates to increase during activities.

More precisely:

While resting, a healthy adult heart beats 60 to 100 times per minute. If a person's heart rate is consistently over 100 beats per minute, the person is considered to have a high heart rate, which is also known as tachycardia.

Well it does say he was running at a fast pace..considering its robben "fast pace" for him is normal and i think his heart is kinda used to it...but im just assuming..lets say im not an expert in the field

^ Still definitely not a normal heart rate... A cardiologist will know better and he probably visited one.

I think it's normal to achieve such heart rates for pro athletes. It just shows that he is fit and has good stamina.

It all depends on what's his heart rate while resting... I'd guess that it is over 100 and it has nothing to do with stamina.

On average range aerobic heart rate zone stays between 130 to 150 beats per minute for a person of 32 years old like Arjen
It s normal for someone that is running. He use his heart rate monitor to corelate the pace/effort with his heart rate.
Ussully you can get bigger values if for example you go and start running with a pace of 4km/min for few minutes and you never did that before. For sure you will get 160-180 heart rate.
In conclusion he is doing a moderate with some short periods of high intensity effort.
