I would be willing to sacrifice Robben for 5 Bundesliga games just to make sure he is 100% and plays all 90 minutes of the CL games! Same maybe even more so for Ribery!

I think that none of Robbery were injured. Van Gaal just wanted to give them a rest so they will be 100% fit for Fiorentina match.

I think they were just being precautious, not taking any risks ahead of the important match against Fiorentina on Tuesday. I mean, there was no report at all in the press, about him not being part of the training sessions or being even slightly doubtful for the Koln match. If we would have played a stronger BL side, I'm quite sure he would have been part of the squad. In that context, I think they underestimated Koln, which can come back to haunt us if Leverkusen get away with the win in Nurnberg today.
