Earlier this week, SportBild claimed Robben had suffered an avulsion fracture, but speaking to Sky before Bayern's 2-2 Champions League draw with Benfica on Wednesday, Bayern Munich sporting executive Matthias Sammer said: "That's completely wrong.
"It's not correct. He has problems in the adductor region, like we have said all along. He could not have completed a public 30-minute running session at our training facilities. It's a phenomenon to me how that could even be possible.

On the plowed Nebenplatz Arjen Robben (32 / groin). The Dutchman was able to complete long sprints for the first time.

I see a .1% chance he plays in the first leg vs A.Madrid and a 10% chance he plays in the second leg....

I'm not very hopeful about him returning this season to be honest. Robben's previous injuries with a timetable used to take longer than expected. This injury doesn't even have one. I'll let you do the math :(

If he is sprinting, he should be well and ready for a possible final if not earlier.

We're in a phase that every small detail matters, one must assume that all this mystery on Robben's comeback are some "mind games" and they want to keep him 100% percent ready n fit against the 2nd leg at Munich against A.Madrid which will decide everything and for a possible CL-Finale and DFB pokale. We're not used to these things but it's quite troublesome that the board can't announce a timetable or what exactly is that injury for that's why I take into serious consideration the mind games part.

I don't say that Bayern is keeping the curtains closed on purpose for this particular matter(Robben) but I just mention a possibility that hadn't been expressed until now, well we're talking about Robben's fitness... but who knows

It definitely looks like his aiming for a comeback this season. Don't forget that he's not going to play in the Euros, so this is are probably the latest games for him as a top player in top form.

I really hope he can make it at least for the second leg. [-o<

If Robben can return in the next few weeks, the only player still out with an injury would be everyone's favorite Badstuber.

Good point, although I don't think this is the case.

This would help sooooo much, we could have a rested squad for the UCL matches which can really hurt athletico

Robben then told BILD: "We look from day to day. But today was as a good day! "
