It might be a blessing in disguise. We can potentially see Gotze behind lewda or on the left wing or even thiago in the n10 role.

Robert

Costa-Gotze-Muller

Thiago-Vidal

Well... Coman is a big talent but he just can't be expected to be as reliable as Robbery at 19. We're going to have it tough to keep up with Dortmund in the BuLi and with Wolfsburg in the Pokal if Robben doesn't come back soon.

In fact, I think Götze is going to have to play RW in any important matches we may have.

What? Mueller always played there when Robben was injured, he's just as effective there as he is behind a striker.

He'll miss the first two CL games, if I'm not mistaken

Can't we, like, just boycott international breaks? All the non-German players are either useless in their national teams or are in useless national teams anyways. For ****'s sake.

Well actually Robben is the only WC player left in Netherlands, and took them, alongside RvP and LvG, to third place in the WC (should have been to the final, damn Argentinians...). He hardly is useless to them...

The ironic thing is that, looking at the fixtures calendar, he'll likely be fit just in time to play in the next international matches break.

At least he'll be able to play against Wolfsburg in Pokal and the two matches against Arsenal in UCL, he'll miss the match against BVB in BuLi though. :x

Bayern shall veto his presence ...
He can't just miss a month of football with his employers because of an injury which occured during the Int break and go to play again for them.
