Attack will not be a problem vs the USA defense i think. We scored 4 against Portugal with the same attack.Especially after schweini will be back instead of khedira i am sure we will create enough chances and muller and gotze will put a few of them away. The main worry i think is our defense,we looked weak after mustafi came on in place of boateng and conceded two goals vs ghana and truth be stated ghana missed a few opportunities too!So i am keeping my fingers crossed that boateng is OK!

Höwedes is too slow IMO. Couldn't Durm play?

I think both teams will go out for a win and that is why the game will end in a draw.
As for the line -up I pray that: Lahm plays RB,or at least if JL insists on putting him in MDF Grosskreutz is the one to guard the Right flank. Another wish is to have Ozil benched...

^^ I'm also at the stage where I'd be relieved to see Grosskreutz start at RB. He is fast, has played well for Dortmund and works very hard for the team. I didn't think a couple of years ago that I'd be saying that!

Being a German-American I was hoping this match would have been an after-thought with the group winner (Germany) already decided and the USA at least having a chance at second spot in the group. Still, I will be cheering for Die Mannschaft and hope they run the score up on the USA. Why, you ask? Well, for one I'm tired of listening to supposed sports analysts here in the USA that don't have a basic understanding of fussball and blabbering on and on about team USA, one minute complaining that Klinsi didn't take Donovan and the next praising him on how they beat Ghana. Then, they made a big f*cking deal about him saying the USA can't win the WC, as if just being American is enough to win any sport. It's arrogance at the highest level. For God's sake, if it wasn't for German-American's like Jones and Johnson, the USA would already be packing their bags and going home. So, to hell with a draw, I want to see Germany crush USA, so I don't have to listen to these sports a**holes anymore and let them go back to talking about boring sports, like baseball.

I've read an interview don't remember where or by whom all I know is that both were Americans. One of them was explaining to the other on how a team can advance from a group, and how many points are awarded... One of them was also surprised that a game can end up as a draw (tie) :?

Midfield trio of Kroos, Lahm and Basti. They can easily control the midfield and thwart USA. Could have been Goetze instead of Kroos, but i guess Leow wants to dominate the center of the park.

Good lineup IMO. No khedira =D> =D> =D>
