I wish he will be the permanent captain of both NT and Bayern.

He has everything that is needed to be a symbol for both teams, and he has many years in front of him to do that.

Would be interesting to see a statistic on how many games Lahm played in a row, both for Bayern and for Germany. He gets a rest, at last. Winning or losing is not important in this one. It's just about testing all the youngsters who have been shining in the Bundesliga in the last few weeks and see how they do on the international stage. I'm particularly looking forward to see Mario Gotze.

I think Lewis Holtby is such a scary offensive player. I could see him performing better than Kroos/Marin have done for the NT and stealing their spot in the full squad. Similarly i think Goetze will do that as well.

I agree he should be Bayern captain, but not germany captain.
No prizes for guessing who I think should be german captain.

So without Özil, Podolski and Müller we will probably see Mario Götze in the starting 11. I'm sure that he will be the next German big talent. Not only a good player like Grosskreutz or Holtby
