A great chance to try different things and give the non-starters a run.

I sure hope he does. He's lacking a lot of match fitness.

Draxler, Kruse, Sam, Kroos, Muller, Ozil, Schurrle - those are the players that really deserve a start. They proved their good form and worked hard for the ticket to play in NT. Gotze didnt have to do anything. If he starts over one of the mentioned it will just be unfair.

I always try to stay objective. Truth is Gotze did nothing to deserve this call up. He is not Schweinsteiger, Khedira or someone else very important to the NT that he should get a call up even if he is not in form.

I don't think we'll rest too many players. Loew wants to prove a point after the embarrassment suffered in the last match against Sweden.

Ibrahimovic won't be playing this match so that will make this match a bit easier for us, so it would be useful to rest some players. Also Khedira is suspended for this match.
Here (at his club of six years Bayern Munich) it is always good, here I am happy and here it's fun. That is more important for me than the national team.

I was hoping Austria could beat Sweden so that Germany could beat them on Tuesday so that Austria could reach the World Cup, but alas.

Well, look at the pros... No injury risks for Alaba, and he won't be tired after a super long season either.

Don't worry. It will be winter in the southern hemisphere. :)

Most of the matches will in in the south/southeast and it is June. And it can be pretty cold in the south (close to 0°) and southeast is actually pleasant, 20-25°.
