Low on the Italian NT
http://www.sportmediaset.mediaset.it/ca ... ico-.shtml
to cut the long story short he said that the Italians are masters at making you think that you have the game in hand but out of nowhere they come out to hit you when you least expect them. They are a unique team who can adjust and change during a match like no other.
He also said that the NT is neither FCB nor BVB and he has his own way of play.

I'd love to see us rock Italy tomorrow. These two friendlies should signal our intent to run the tables this summer

Loew always reads too much into Italy's tactics. There's is always something more than what truly is for him. He just wouldn't accept the fact that they are a good team with pretty much standard tactics :|

The false forward will be like lost man in a defence like the Italian one !

I agree, Loew should be looking at Schurrle not just for this game but as a potential long term option for the World Cup too.

Although, I wouldn't mind seeing Gotze playing there tomorrow either.

Well said. Italy's tactic is no tactics, it is being themselves: they lock the game which they can do against anyone since Italian football is defensive by nature (Italians are taught to defend every inch of the field since they are little kids) so having a low score game they are patient and wait for their chance, if it happens they run away with a 1 goal win or they do not mind sending the game to PK's, something that gave them mixed results throughout history.

I repeat something that I wrote when they beat Germany in Euro2012: You can't beat them playing a no physical contact game, you have to hustle specially high on the pitch, win balls close to their back line and avoid going 1v1 against their skillful defenders. The likes of Ozil, Kroos and Gotze who do not like contact need to contribute pressing high to start play before they set up their impenetrable double line of 4's, that's how you break them.

Well, Lahm is all cordial off the pitch.

The Italian media claimed that Gotze might play as false 9 (I have my doubts)
Having Kroos, Reus and Muller behind him since Ozil is another doubt. Bender & Khedira holding midfielders with Jensen Boateng, Hummels Lahm the back 4.

Italy will play with a 4-3-1-2 formation : Balotelli - Osvaldo upfront with Montolivo behind them!

I think this is perhaps one of the rare times in which a friendly is actually very important. I think that Germany will do their utmost to win this in order to break their jinx and put themselves in a better mental position ahead of the World Cup. It will be interesting to see how the team fares without Schweinsteiger and how the new kits look in action.

Or in simple words just watch Heynches tactics vs Juve :-)
