I don't think Low will bench Merte after his recent resurgence. The guy is in good form at the moment.

I fancy our line up to relatively unchanged baring injury to Khedira, if he is unable to play i bet Kroos slides in the holding role

And that's how Löw found himself a gun to shoot himself in the foot with.

At least he found new options in attack with Reus and Kroos who really are looking awesome in German team. But I don't care too much about these games in qualifications and friendly matches, what I do really care and wait to see is K.O. phase, precisely semi-finals and Löw's approach which was bad last 2 times.

What he needs to solve is LB position, install Schmelzer on it and find a partner to Badstuber. Competition is high, but you must be awared of that you'll need the best 11 and throw out all potential from your players and create a real chemistry on the field.

Well it's not like he has Hummels at his disposal to end this debate. Merte is an accident waiting to happen, and so is Boateng. Both of them are on good form right now, so he'll probably take the one with more experience (and rightfully so!).

I hate Reus. His lightweight frame allows him to pass through the CBs like a Henckels knife on melting butter. Then he has this way of running with a perfect balanced torso, not too forward á la Gómez, nor laid back like Götze. And if that wasn't good enough, he has this rotational feet he uses to shoot 180 degree cannonballs at will. Damn 18 million was a freaking bargain.

But the bastard is becoming selfish by the day. I remember two instances in the last game when he could have given away easy and dangerous passes (probably assists), but decided to over-dribble and have his shots blocked easily by the defenders. Maybe it was just the euphoria of scoring two important goals, so here's hoping that it is not a new trend in his gameplay.

100% correct
His body composition and way of running is unique which gives him a huge advantage (thomas muellers body is also different in a way)

But the best thing about reus is his shooting technique
His feet can rotate 360 degrees not 180 :P
His shots are impossible and yes 18 millions are a bargain

Yep, that happens when your frame comes from Rubbermaid® & your batteries from Energizer®. :P

I'm pretty sure his body composition is still mostly H20 + organic compounds like everyone else... :P

but on a more serious note, he is becoming the best German attacking player; he got speed, agility, finishing, ball control, vision, shot, intelligence, everything.

Reus is just too good. I've been following since his first days in Gladbach but I never thought he was going to reach this level. He is world class for sure and the guy keeps improving every game

Reus, Götze and Schürrle have that electric speed that I love in attacking players. A joy to watch =P~

On the other hand I've always wanted Müller as a starter for the NT since the World Cup but I wouldn't mind to see an attacking trio with Reus, Özil and Götze behind the striker. Of course I'd love to see Reus or Schürrle as ST, but that doesn't seem realistic at all at the moment
