I just thought the same thing and I prefer his descriptions.
The description for this thread is one sentence, no history or other info that gets you going for the game.
Also, he spelled the sub-title sentence wrong, "Who will go to tho WC final".
AvatarX, come jazz the thread up. :D

The big question is who will replace Muller. I think, for the sake of being equally lethal on fast-breaks it should be Cacau. We need someone fast who can also get into scoring position and score. Troche is good maintaining possession but he does not score, Kroos is a tad to slow to be effective as a winger, and Marin is not ready. Cacau seems logical but the only concern is whether he will track back enough to help defend.

Cacau MUST play instead of Müller, he is fast and he can score.
Now, if we want to beat Spain, we must OWN Iniesta, just like we did with Messi.
Without Iniesta, Spain are NOTHING.

[2010-07-07] Germany vs. Spain (WC2010)

Postby AvatarX » Sun Jul 04, 2010 8:47 am

Germany and Spain haven't met many times in a World Cup.

World Cup1966 West Germany 2 – 1 Spain
World Cup1982, Second Stage: West Germany 2 – 1 Spain (Hosts)
World Cup1994, Group Stage: Germany 1 – 1 Spain

This was mainly because most of the times Spain didn't manage to qualify in the final stages of World Cups. That's why they had the label "losers" for big tournaments.

All that changed with Euro 2008 when they manage to win and actually impress with their effective and nice played football. They met Germany to the final:
Final Euro 2008: Germany 0 – 1 Spain

Now, in WC2010, after 2 years we have the chance to get our revenge. Spain hadn't been that impressive so far, but sure they have been effective. Germany has been both effective and impressive.
Germany offense has 13 goals so far (8 of them against very strong opponents) while Spain has only 6.

I expect a really tough semi-final, but I believe we have what it takes to get our revenge and go to the final.

Go Germany!

I like it when Avatarx opens the poll before each game :)
It seems we are likely to win God-willing [-o<
I think Germany can do it after this highly convincing display against the likes of England with Capello  and against Argentina with maradona =D>

For me, the best option is Kroos, with Marin coming on at some point. However, probably Trochowski will replace him. For one thing, he was the one who came on for Muller yesterday (Kroos replaced Khedira). And also, we are now in the semis, against the European Champions. Trochowski has experience.

As for the game, I haven't been impressed by Spain so far in this tournament. I'm confident we will win but anything will happen. However, a thing to note is that nearly all Spain's goals have come from Villa so far. We should keep an eye on him.

Most probable replacement is Trochowski , with some chances for Marin

But Kroos as little little chance

Loew said that He took Kroos to Be the Back up of the Both CDMs

and for the guy who said that Kroos should be CAM with Ozil as RAM , ozil on the Right is not Great , he is bad there even though he sometimes plays there

IF kroos will paly then put Kroos as RM and leave Ozil as CAM

========
Best option in My opinion is starting Marin instead of Mueller

We will surely miss the "unpredictable" Mueller, so I expect a close one.
Marin didn't impress me in the WC matches so far (lost the ball almost all the time). Trochowski is a bit better but he is a bit predictable.

I just hope Oezil will make those passes that would give Klose the chances to break Ronaldo record in this one :)
